What is Laser and
IPL?
Here at Leighton Laser Skin Clinic we have
invested in the latest Harmony™ system which provides a
full range of treatment via individual IPL and Laser hand
pieces.
Both IPL (intense pulsed light) and Laser
work on the same principle: Light is used to provide enough energy,
in the form of heat, to illicit a change in the skin. Depending on
your chosen treatment. A specific wavelength of light penetrates
the skin and targets an area for change.
For Hair
removal we target
the stem cells or root of the hair which actually produce
hair growth.
Pigmented
Lesions arise
when the body produces too much Melanin. In
treating these lesions with a beam of light the melanin is
destroyed and reabsorbed by the body. For
Vascular
problems
the Haemoglobin is
targeted and can be heated and ultimately destroyed. Excellent for
those annoying thread veins that appear as you get
